PDF Element, a PDF beater

I bought PDF Element for a specific task, which was to design an interactive response form for our engineers to use on site when conducting surveys.

Using a tablet or laptop, we wanted to cut down on a) the amount of actual writing the engineer has to do and b), the duplication back at the office where someone had to originally type up their notes.

I shied away from the well known PDF editing program, because frankly it is way too expensive.

I'm a long time user of another WOndershare program, Filmora and so I know that the program was almost certainly going to be straightforward to use and there would be support available if I needed it.

Well, I was right on both counts. In the early days of my design project, I needed some input on areas of the drop down boxes, which I wanted to tailor to my need.

The response was reasonably prompt and I was able to develop my form albeit at a slower pace, because I was learning the ropes so to speak.

I am pleased to say, that the project has been successfully implemented and is now at a stage, where the engineer can e mail the completed site survey back for spell checking and passing on to the client.

It has cut down on the office administration part of this work and feedback from the engineers, has allowed me to tailor the form to a precise need. We are all very happy with the finished result.

Another feature that has proven itself of late. We need to review and update certain in house certification in readiness for our ISO audit. Most of these certs are kept on our system in the for of PDF.

Using PDF Element, has allowed me to conduct the review and amend dates and issue status of a number of certificates to bring them up to date.

PDF Element is a straightforward piece of software to use and I believe it is going to cover just about every aspect someone who wishes to edit PDFs either of their own making of that of others. For example, sales brochures can be edited to update them.

When working with desktop publishing packages, saved as PDF and fine tuned for print or online use, PDF Element steps up to the plate and helps an individual produce high quality output relatively easily.
